.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 22Z, or 2 PM PST, a 1021 mb surface high was
400 NM SW of Los Angeles and a 994 mb surface low was 500 NM W of 
Eureka, CA. Steep seas will affect northern portions of the coastal
waters through this evening. Areas of light rain will occur as early 
as Friday over the northern waters, spreading throughout the 
waters Saturday with chances lasting into early next week.
