At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
near Long Point On Marthas Vineyard, moving south at 20 knots.

44097 Southeast Of Block Island, The Coastal Waters South Of
Nantucket, Nantucket Sound, Menemsha Bight, Wasque Point, Brant Point
Light, Gay Head Light, Madaket Harbor, Surfside On Nantucket, The
Coastal Waters South Of Marthas Vineyard, Muskeget Channel, Rhode
Island Sound, Long Point On Marthas Vineyard, Cape Poge Light,
Edgartown Harbor, and The Coastal Waters Between Block Island And
Marthas Vineyard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and
lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until this storm
passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
