  Fire Island Inlet to Moriches Inlet NY out 20 NM...
  Moriches Inlet to Montauk Point NY out 20 NM...
  Long Island South Shore Bays...

At 658 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Great
South Bay to 11 nm north of Buoy 44025, moving east at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Shinnecock Bay, Westhampton Beach, Moriches Inlet, Shinnecock Inlet,
and Moriches Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

Lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the open water
stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
