WATERS...

The areas affected include...

  Sandy Hook NJ to Fire Island Inlet NY out 40 NM...
  The Open Waters 20 to 40 NM south of Fire Island Inlet to Moriches
Inlet NY...

At 517 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a broken line of showers and 
embeddd thunderstorms. These thunderstorms were located along a line 
extending from near Entrance to New York Harbor to 12 nm west of 
Buoy 44025 to 16 nm east of Shark River Reef, moving east at 10 
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
