...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Delaware Bay waters north of East Point NJ to Slaughter Beach 
  DE...

At 443 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms with an 
outflow boundary moving ahead of the storms , capable of producing 
winds up to 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line 
extending from near Stony Point to 15 nm east of Rock Hall, moving 
southeast at 15 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Fortesque Beach, Sea Breeze, Bowers Beach, Woodland Beach, Stony
Point, Ship John Shoal Light, and Cross Ledge Light.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
