At 620 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Buoy 4a Drydocks to 7 nm east of Knotts Island
Bay to 13 nm west of Currituck Sound, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Currituck Beach Light, Currituck Beach, Knotts Island Bay, Currituck
Sound, Deal Island, and Kill Devil Hills.
