All tropical storm warnings have been cancelled. .AREAS AFFECTED... This local statement provides important information and recommended actions for people in Guam and the Northern Marianas. .Watches/Warnings... Tropical storm watches have been cancelled for the Marianas. Damaging winds of 39 mph or more are no longer expected. A Flood Watch remains in effect for all of Guam and the Northern Marianas. Please listen closely for any Flood Warnings that might be in effect for your area. Please check the latest public and marine forecasts for detailed information about additional hazards. .STORM INFORMATION... At 1 PM ChST...the center of Tropical Depression Bebinca (14W) was located near latitude 14.1N...longitude 142.0E. This was about 190 miles west-northwest of Guam. Storm motion was WNW, 285 degrees, at 21 mph. Storm intensity was 35 mph. .SITUATION OVERVIEW... Bebinca continues to move away into the Philippine Sea. While damaging winds are no longer expected in the Marianas, strong southerly winds will continue to push gusty showers over the Marianas the next day or two. .PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Although tropical storm warnings have been cancelled and damaging winds exceeding 39 mph are no longer expected, strong gusts and heavy rains are still expected to affect the region through Thursday.
