Scattered snow showers across northwestern Pennsylvania will
gradually shift north of the area overnight. Otherwise, skies 
will range from mainly clear across the southeast to mostly 
cloudy across the northwest. Lows will generally be in the low to 
mid 20s statewide.

Clouds will be on the increase Wednesday, as a cold front
approaches. Light snow or scattered snow showers will develop
across western Pennsylvania during the afternoon and slowly 
spread eastward towards evening. High temperatures will range 
from around 30 degrees across the northern mountains to the low 
40s across the southeastern piedmont.

The front will cross the commonwealth Wednesday night accompanied
by snow showers, possibly mixed with rain across southeastern 
Pennsylvania. A blustery west-northwesterly flow will develop
behind the front for Thursday, ushering in a reinforcing shot of
cold air and maintaining lake-effect and upslope snow across 
primarily northern and western Pennsylvania.
