Additionally, some embedded heavier snow showers are possible, especially across northeast and east- central Wisconsin. If a heavy snow shower arrives, visibility will drop rapidly to around a quarter of a mile and winds rapidly increase, which will create temporary hazardous travel. Meanwhile, sub-zero wind chills are expected from this evening into Friday morning. The coldest readings will occur tonight, with minimum wind chills of 15 to 30 below across the area. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for central and north- central and east central Wisconsin from 10 PM tonight until 10 AM Thursday. It will remain cold on Thursday with highs in the single digits to around 10 above zero. The next chance for rain or snow will be on Saturday. $$
