...HIGH WATER IN CHERRY CREEK ON WEDNESDAY DUE TO RESERVOIR 
RELEASES...


Expect higher than normal flows along Cherry Creek downstream of
Cherry Creek Reservoir on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 due to annual 
sediment flushing operations. The release operations may cause minor 
flooding of low-level crossing and access points including bike 
paths.

The operations will start around 9 am and last until 2 pm with the
water taking an estimated 6 hours to reach the Champa bridge 
downstream. Dam operations will return to normal after the flush.
