Where: Chelan and Pend Oreille counties in Washington. Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai, Shoshone, Benewah, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce counties in Idaho. What: Moderate to heavy rainfall will lead to rises on area creeks, streams, rivers, and lakes. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches at the crest of the Cascades and mountains of northeast Washington and the Idaho Panhandle is currently forecast. An Areal Flood Watch has been issued for Lewis and Shoshone Counties in Idaho. Moderate to heavy rainfall combined with rapid snowmelt over the Clearwater Mountains may cause creeks and streams in eastern Lewis County and southern Shoshone County to rise out of their banks. When: Beginning late Sunday morning along the crest of the Cascades and moving into eastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle Sunday afternoon.
