.DISCUSSION...

Through Saturday morning, several rounds of light precipitation
will move over the area west and north of Billings. Precipitation
type will be lower elevation rain/snow and mountain snow, with a 
20% chance of freezing rain on Friday. A cold front will then
cross the district Saturday night with a 20 to 90 percent chance
of precipitation (lowest chance in southeastern areas; greatest
chance in the western mountains) in the form of rain changing to
snow. The chance of wetting precipitation (0.10 inches liquid
equivalent) ranges from less than 10% over southeast MT to about
40% in Yellowstone County to 60-90% in western areas. High 
temperatures will generally be in the 40s and 50s today then 30s 
to 50s Friday and Saturday and 20s to 30s Sunday. RMS
