Situation: A trough of low pressure lies slow moving to the west of
the group. Another trough of low pressure lies slow moving to the
north and continues to drift towards the group. Associated cloud and
showers are expected to affect parts of the group for the next few
days. Meanwhile, an easterly wind flow prevails over the group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Occasional showers over Northern Division, Yasawa group, Lau and
Lomaiviti groups.
Cloudy periods with some showers elsewhere.
Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls expected.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
Moderate to fresh easterly winds.
Moderate to rough seas.
Outlook for Saturday   : Occasional showers over Northern Division,
Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Elsewhere, cloudy periods with some
showers.
Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls likely.
