Northeast to east winds at 10 to 15 knots with slight seas. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms with rain showers over north of Choiseul province.
Further Outlook for Saturday: Variable winds at 05 to 15 knots. 

Forecast for the Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central provinces)


Northeast to southeast winds at 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Further Outlook for Saturday: Northeast
to southeast winds at 10 to 15 knots.  

Forecast for the Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona
provinces)

East to southeast winds at 10 to 15 knots, reaching 20 knots over waters of
Rennell/Bellona province with slight to moderate seas and low southeast
swells. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Further Outlook for
Saturday: Northeast to southeast winds at 05 to 15 knots.              

Forecast for Honiara port & surrounding areas  

Northeast to east winds at 05 to 15 knots with smooth to slight seas. Fine
apart from a few showers and isolated thunderstorm. Further Outlook for
Saturday: Variable winds at 05 to 15 knots.
