...Temperatures and precipitation were above normal in November 
for North Platte, with near normal temperatures and above normal 
precipitation for Valentine in November...

For North Platte, the average daily mean temperature for the month 
of November was 39.7 degrees which was 2.7 degrees above the normal
of 37.0 degrees. The average daily high temperature for the month of
November was 54.1 degrees which was 1.5 degrees above the normal of
52.6 degrees. The average daily low temperature for November was 25.3 
degrees which was 3.9 degrees above the normal 21.4 degrees. One daily
temperature record was set during the month of November for North
Platte. On the 9th, the low temperature in North Platte was 41 degrees.
This broke the record high minimum temperature of 39 degrees set
previously in 2004 and 1878. 

For Valentine, the average daily mean temperature for the month of 
November was 36.5 degrees which was 0.3 degrees above the normal of 
36.2 degrees. The average daily high temperature for November
was 49.3 degrees which was 1.3 degrees below the normal of 50.6 degrees. 
The average daily low temperature for the month was 23.6 degrees 
which was 1.8 degrees above the normal of 21.8 degrees. No daily 
temperature records were set during the month of November for 
Valentine.

At Lee Bird Field in North Platte, precipitation for November   
totaled 1.39 inches which was 0.90 inches above the normal of 0.49 
inches. November 2024 will go down as the 11th wettest November on 
record for North Platte. One daily precipitation record was set
in November at North Platte. On the 8th, 0.89 inches of precipitation
fell, breaking the record of 0.82 inches set previously in 1970. 
Snowfall for November totaled a trace which was 3.0 inches below the 
normal of 3.0 inches. No daily snowfall records were set during the
month of November for North Platte.   

At Miller field in Valentine, precipitation for November totaled 
0.94 inches which was 0.37 inches above the normal of 0.57 inches.
One daily precipitation record was set during the month of November
for Valentine. On the 9th, 0.68 inches of precipitation fell, 
breaking the record of 0.67 inches set previously in 1919. 
Snowfall for the month totaled 0.6 inches which was 4.0 inches
below the normal of 4.6 inches. No daily snowfall records were set
during the month of November for Valentine.
