SUBJECT: Changing flood stage on the 
         South Loup River at Ravenna (RVNN1)


...Flood stage change on the South Loup River at Ravenna...


This past summer the National Weather Service surveyed the river 
banks and area surrounding the South Loup River near Ravenna. 
Based on this site survey, impacts identified during flood events,
and statistical analysis, the following changes to flood stage
will become effective December 2, 2024.

               OLD        NEW 
ACTION STAGE:  4.0 ft     4.5 ft
FLOOD STAGE:   5.0 ft     5.5 ft 
MODERATE:      8.0 ft     7.5 ft
MAJOR:        10.0 ft     9.5 ft
