...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM AST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by previous excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Along Rio Grande de Loiza in Canovanas, Carolina, Loiza, 
  Rio Grande and Trujillo Alto.

* WHEN...Until 215 AM AST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1003 PM AST, USGS river gauge indicated that Rio Grande de
    Loiza below the Carraizo dam has reached flood stage due to
    excessive runoff. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
