...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central Virginia, including the following 
  county, Buckingham.

* WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 110 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in
    Flooding throughout the eastern part of the county, including
    the Slate River at Arvonia which was above flood stage.
    Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Cole Creek, Crooked Creek, Halfway Creek, Hatcher Creek, Bear
    Garden Creek, James River, Georgia Branch, Gold Mine Branch,
    Horsepen Creek, Gills Creek and Cooper Creek.
    Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Buckingham, Dillwyn, Gold Hill and New Canton.

unstable and unsafe.
