...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 AM CDT EARLY THIS 
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central Wisconsin, including the following 
  counties, western Marathon and western Wood.

* WHEN...Until 245 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1259 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms has fallen since 10
    pm on Thursday evening. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
    to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5
    inches of rain have fallen. The areas that have seen the most
    rain include west of Rib Falls to Unity in Marathon County,
    and to the west of Pittsville and Babcock in Wood County.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area before the rain ends by 2 am. This additional
    rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Marshfield, Abbotsford, Spencer, Pittsville, Babcock, Colby,
    Stratford, Edgar, Athens, Rib Falls, Hamburg, Hewitt,
    Auburndale, Unity, Arpin, Fenwood, Rozellville, March Rapids,
    Bakerville and Nasonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
