The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Laguna Madre From the Port Of Brownsville to the Arroyo Colorado...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 911 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over Boca Chica Beach, or near Port Isabel,
  moving west at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspout and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Port Isabel, Queen Isabella Causeway, Laguna Vista, and South Padre
  Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for Deep South
Texas...and the adjacent coastal waters.
