SITUATION AT 0600UTC
Vigorous south to southwesterly flow associated with a surface trough.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 28S155E 28S154E 36S150E 36S153E 28S155E.

FORECAST
Southerly quarter winds 30/40 knots initially south of 30S, extending to south
of 28S by 150900UTC. Winds easing below 34 knots by 151500UTC. Rough to very
rough seas. Low to moderate swell.

than the forecast, and stronger still in squalls and thunderstorms. Maximum
