DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Typhoon Ewiniar will be 
located near Latitude 24.9 degrees North and Longitude 131.3 degrees 
East. Ewiniar is moving northeast at 22 mph. It is expected to 
maintain this general course with a decrease in forward speed through
Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 80 mph. Ewiniar is forecast 
to continue to weaken over the next couple of days.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 40 miles to
the southeast and up to 30 miles elsewhere. Tropical storm force 
winds extend outward from the center up to 100 miles to the southeast
and up to 65 miles elsewhere.
