...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM CDT THIS 
EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS, LOW HUMIDITY, AND DRY VEGETATION FOR 
WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN NORTH TEXAS...

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Red Flag 
Warning for gusty winds, low humidities, and dry vegetation, which
is in effect from noon today to 8 PM CDT this evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Up to 89.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* SEVERITY...

  FUELS (ERC)...70th-89th percentile...4 (out of 5).

  WEATHER...Near Critical...2 (out of 5).

  FIRE ENVIRONMENT...6 (out of 10).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures will
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
