...SPECIAL AVALANCHE ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM SUNDAY...

*WHAT...Near-record temperatures and a deeper-than-normal June
snowpack will result in large, potentially destructive, wet 
avalanches through the weekend. 

*WHERE...The mountains of Colorado above about 11,500 feet where
there is an existing snowpack.

*WHEN...Through Sunday evening

*IMPACTS...Large wet avalanches may release naturally threatening 
backcountry travelers attempting to climb or ride on high peaks
in Colorado

*PRECAUTION/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Consider these abnormal 
conditions in your travel plans and choose a route that avoids
snow-covered avalanche terrain. You can find more detailed
