...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 AM CDT FOR
WESTERN RED LAKE...WESTERN NORMAN...SOUTHWESTERN POLK...NORTHERN
CASS...TRAILL AND SOUTHEASTERN STEELE COUNTIES...

At 646 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across portions of the warned area. This warning will likely be 
replaced soon with an areal flood warning. 

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Crookston, Hillsboro, Red Lake Falls, Halstad, Arthur, Hendrum and
Climax.

This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 84 and 115.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
