...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN BURLEIGH, NORTH CENTRAL EMMONS AND 
SOUTHWESTERN KIDDER COUNTIES...

At 235 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported numerous flooded 
roadways in north central and northeast Emmons County. Between 4 and 
7 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hazelton and Braddock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become 
unstable and unsafe.
