...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTH CENTRAL HOWARD COUNTY...

At 142 PM CDT, Emergency Management reported that water is now over 
Highway 58 in Dannebrog due to continued rising water levels along 
the Oak Creek. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain fell in Howard County 
last night. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional 
rainfall is expected until at least Sunday afternoon or evening.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Dannebrog.

The Oak Creek is expected to crest around 3pm this afternoon. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
