...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR KIMBLE COUNTY...

At 1022 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain across the 
warned area with one home ending up with water inside. In addition, 
HWY 2169 was also flooded with water. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain 
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are 
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  Junction, Segovia, South Llano River State Park, Yates Crossing, 
  Telegraph, London, Roosevelt, Us-83 Near The Kerr-Kimble County 
  Line, The Intersection Of I-10 And Us 290, I-10 Near The 
  Kimble-Kerr County Line, Us-377 Near The Kimble-Edwards County 
  Line and I-10 Near The Sutton-Kimble County Line.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 434 and 477.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Park Road 73 crossing South Llano River, US HWY 377 crossing South 
Llano River, FM 2169 crossing Johnson Fork Creek, RM 385 crossing 
Falls Prong, RM 385 crossing Perdenales River, US HWY 377 crossing 2 
miles North of Telegraph, Old Segovia Rd. crossing Johnson Fork, 
County Road 430 crossing Joy Creek, KC 451 crossing Johnson Fork and 
crossings along County Road 410.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.
