The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Elbert County in east central Colorado...
  Northwestern Lincoln County in east central Colorado...
  Southeastern Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 930 PM MDT.

* At 630 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.8 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
           roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Elbert, Northwestern Lincoln 
  and Southeastern Arapahoe Counties.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  East Bijou Creek, Agate Creek, Beaver Creek, Water Gulch, 
  Middlemist Creek, Muddy Creek and Big Sandy Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
