The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Bryan County in southeastern Georgia...
  Bulloch County in southeastern Georgia...
  Chatham County in southeastern Georgia...
  Effingham County in southeastern Georgia...
  Evans County in southeastern Georgia...
  Liberty County in southeastern Georgia...
  Jasper County in southeastern South Carolina...

* Until 1030 PM EDT Tuesday.

* At 407 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated mostly light to moderate 
  rainfall associated with Tropical Storm Debby. A pocket of heavier 
  rain was moving south across portions of Candler and Bulloch 
  Counties. As much as 5 to 10 inches of rain has fallen over the 
  area. An additional 1 to 2 inches could fall this afternoon. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing in many areas and the risk for additional 
  flooding continues. Numerous roadways remain either flooded or 
  washed out. Roads remain flooded in parts of the Savannah Metro 
  Area and some homes are flooded. Similar conditions are occurring 
  elsewhere across the warning area.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hinesville, Savannah, Pooler, Bluffton, Richmond Hill, Tybee 
  Island, Claxton, Pembroke, I-16/I-95 Interchange, Godley Station 
  and Savannah International Airport.

Emergency management officials report that water is flowing over the 
dam along Smith Brother's Lake southwest of Claxton, Georgia, and is 
flooding nearby areas. Perry Road which runs along the lake is 
closed.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
