* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Adair County in southwestern Iowa...
  Northern Cass County in southwestern Iowa...
  Audubon County in west central Iowa...
  Carroll County in west central Iowa...
  Southeastern Crawford County in west central Iowa...
  Southwestern Greene County in west central Iowa...
  Guthrie County in west central Iowa...

* Until 900 PM CDT Tuesday.

* At 257 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain beginning to enter the warned area. Additional rainfall 
  amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Since 
  the flood waters have receded only minimally since this morning, 
  the additional rainfall is expected to lead to renewed or 
  additional flash flooding.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Carroll, Atlantic, Audubon, Guthrie Center, Stuart, Manning, Coon 
  Rapids, Glidden, Panora, Lake Panorama, Anita, Exira, Adair, Elk 
  Horn, Dexter, Scranton, Bayard, Casey and Diamondhead Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
