The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Tuscola County in southeastern Michigan...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 520 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Rainfall amounts in excess of 
  three inches have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to 
  begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Cass City and Gagetown. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
