The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Washtenaw County in southeastern Michigan...

* Until 700 AM EDT.

* At 305 AM EDT,   Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain 
  has fallen since 2 AM across northeast Washtenaw county. 
  Additional rainfall at 1 to 2 inches per hour is likely from 3 AM 
  to 4 AM. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Dexter, Salem, Dixboro, Whitmore Lake, 
  Willis, Barton Hills, Delhi Mills, Pittsfield Township, Hudson 
  Mills Metropark, Hudson Mills, Whittaker and Lyndon Township.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
