  Johnson County in east central Kansas...
  South Central Leavenworth County in northeastern Kansas...
  Wyandotte County in northeastern Kansas...
  Northwestern Cass County in west central Missouri...
  Southwestern Jackson County in west central Missouri...

* Until 815 AM CDT.

* At 450 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms 
  producing flash flooding  across the warned area. Water rescues 
  are ongoing. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. 
  Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the 
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee's Summit, 
  Shawnee, Lenexa, Leawood, Raytown, Grandview, Belton, Prairie 
  Village, Raymore, Gardner, Merriam, Mission, Bonner Springs, De 
  Soto, Spring Hill and Greenwood.

This includes the following highways...
	Interstate 635 between mile markers 0 and 7.
	Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 215 and 226.
	Interstate 35 in Kansas between mile markers 205 and 235.
	Interstate 435 between mile markers 0 and 15...and
	between mile markers 57 and 83.
	Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 13.
	Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 4.
	Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 410 and 423.
	Interstate 470 between mile markers 0 and 9.
