* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Douglas County in southwestern Missouri...
  Southern Laclede County in southwestern Missouri...
  Western Taney County in southwestern Missouri...
  Webster County in southwestern Missouri...
  Wright County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 430 AM CST Tuesday.

* At 837 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 
  hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Western Fort Leonard Wood, Lebanon, Marshfield, Mountain Grove, 
  Rogersville, Seymour, Mansfield, Fordland, Conway, Norwood, 
  Hartville, Niangua, Diggins, Morgan, Kissee Mills, Dawson, Duncan, 
  Twin Bridges, Odin, Grovespring, Rader, Dogwood, Manes, 
  Competition, Northview, Graff, Lynchburg, Dry Knob, Falcon, 
  Bradleyville, Ridgedale, Lake Taneycomo and Bull Shoals Lake.

This includes the following low water crossings...
  Little Beaver Creek at Old Cheese Plant Road, Beaver Creek at 
  Crewes Ford Road, James River at Bell Ford Road, Elk Creek at 
  Highway Z, Osage Fork at Auburn Road, Little Beaver Creek at 
  County Road 447 and Wolf Creek at Highway AB.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
