The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has extended 
the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Davie County in the piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 200 PM EDT.

* At noon EDT, Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen 
  countywide this morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 
  inch are still possible in the warned area, but locally excessive 
  runoff will linger for a few more hours throughout much of the 
  Yadkin and South Yadkin tributaries.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain

  SOURCE...Gauges reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Mocksville, Bermuda Run, Cooleemee, Farmington, Fork Church, 
  Advance and Sheffield.
