The National Weather Service in Hastings has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  the Dannebrog area in Howard County in central Nebraska...

* Until midnight CDT tonight.

* At 727 PM CDT, emergency management reported continued flooding in 
  Dannebrog due to rising levels on the Oak Creek. Highway 58 in 
  Dannebrog is closed, and sandbagging efforts continue around area 
  homes and businesses. This is a result of thunderstorms that 
  produced 3 to 6 inches of rain in the area Friday night. Flooding 
  impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. 
  Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Emergency management and law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Dannebrog.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
