The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Cape May County in southern New Jersey...
  Southeastern Cumberland County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 630 AM EDT.

* At 229 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches 
  of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Ocean City, Somers Point, Woodbine, Sea Isle City, Avalon, 
  Longport, Corbin City, Dennisville, Goshen, Belleplain Forest, 
  Eldora and Seaville.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 9 and 27.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
