* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Genesee County in western New York...
  Northern Livingston County in western New York...
  Southern Monroe County in western New York...
  Northwestern Ontario County in western New York...
  Northeastern Wyoming County in western New York...

* Until 900 PM EDT.

* At 455 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Geneseo, Letchworth State Park, Henrietta, Perry, Warsaw, Avon, 
  Mount Morris, Victor, Honeoye Falls, Pavilion, Caledonia, Lima, 
  Scottsville, Mendon, Rush, York, West Bloomfield, Livonia, 
  Covington and Leicester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
