* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Lackawanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Southeastern Susquehanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northeastern Wyoming County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 758 PM EDT, Flash flooding was on-going on many streams and 
  creeks in the warned area. The heavy rain has ended but runoff 
  from up to 3 inches of rain continues to cause flooding problems. 
  The waters are expected to recede by late evening.


  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain earlier this
           evening.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Scranton, Waverly, Dickson City, Clarks Summit, Clarks Green, 
  Dalton, Factoryville, Nicholson, La Plume, Hop Bottom, Wallsville, 
  Fleetville, East Benton, Glenwood, Tompkinsville, Lenoxville, 
  Royal, Blakely, Taylor and Clifford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
