  Central Lincoln County in southeastern South Dakota...
  Southern Minnehaha County in southeastern South Dakota...
  Southern Turner County in southeastern South Dakota...
  Northeastern Yankton County in southeastern South Dakota...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1027 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 6 
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Canton, Harrisburg, Lennox, Centerville, Worthing, Inwood, Viborg, 
  Irene, Hurley, Mayfield, Davis and Lake Alvin State Recreation 
  Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
