The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Concho County in west central Texas...

* Until 245 AM CDT.

* At 1138 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen to the west and north of Eden. Also, 7.5 inches 
  of rain has been reported near Millersview today. Flash flooding 
  is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Paint Rock, Eden, Eola, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 
  765, Vick, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1929 and The 
  Intersection Of Ranch Road 380 And Ranch Road 381.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, County Road 4131 crossing Maverick 
Creek, County Road 2019 crossing Brady Creek, County Road 4508 
crossing Duck Creek, crossings along County Road 4508, County Road 
3120 crossing Harden Branch, Highway 380 at Dry Hollow, Highway 380 
near FM 1655, Highway 380 crossing and Farm Road 1929 crossing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
