The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Bosque County in central Texas...
  Hill County in central Texas...
  Northeastern McLennan County in central Texas...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 323 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
  possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hillsboro, Clifton, West, Whitney, Meridian, Hubbard, Laguna Park, 
  Blum, Cranfills Gap, Bynum, Carl's Corner, Lake Whitney State 
  Park, Lake Whitney, Aquilla Lake, Meridian State Park, Gholson, 
  Walnut Springs, Morgan, Abbott and Leroy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
