The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Aransas County in south central Texas...
  East Central Nueces County in south central Texas...
  Southeastern San Patricio County in south central Texas...

* Until 1045 AM CDT.

* At 821 AM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy 
  rain in Aransas Pass. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. 
  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
  warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Public reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, Ingleside, Aransas Pass and 
  Ingleside On The Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
