The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Uvalde County in south central Texas...

* Until 900 AM CDT.

* At 604 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Blewett, Dabney and Cline.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Indian Creek, Olmos Creek, Nueces River, West Nueces River, Wood 
  Slough, Little Indian Creek, Windmill Creek, Little Muela Creek, 
  Gato Creek, Elm Creek, Muela Creek, Mustang Creek and Turkey Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
