The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Val Verde County in south central Texas...

* Until 1215 PM CDT.

* At 1010 AM CDT, Rainfall rates over southeastern Val Verde county 
  have decreased. However, given widespread 2 to 3 inches of 
  rainfall earlier today, runoff will continue to pose a flood 
  threat this morning. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Del Rio, Lake View, Long Point, Black Brush Point, Diablo East, 
  Governors Landing, Cienegas Terrace, Rough Canyon Recreation Area, 
  277 North Campground, Spur 406 Campground, Devils Shores, San 
  Pedro Canyon, Lake Ridge Ranch, Pafford Crossing and Devils River 
  State Nat Area Big Satan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
