The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Douglas County in northwestern Wisconsin...

* Until 100 PM CDT Monday.

* At 931 AM CDT Monday, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Superior, Maple, Poplar, Amnicon Falls State Park, South Range, 
  Wisconsin Point, Cloverland, Wentworth, Blueberry, Mouth Of Brule 
  and Waino.

Very slow moving thunderstorms were causing heavy rain to occur. 
Radar estimates 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen over portions of 
the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
