* Flash Flood Warning for...
  A Dam Break on the Little Wolf River below Manawa Dam in...
  Central Waupaca County in northeastern Wisconsin...

* Until 930 PM CDT Friday.

* At 1237 PM CDT, Emergency management and dam operators reported 
  the immininent failure of Manawa Dam causing flash flooding 
  downstream on the Little Wolf River.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding from the failure of Manawa Dam.

  SOURCE...Dam operator.

  IMPACT...Flooding of areas downstream from the Manawa Dam along
           the Little Wolf River.

* The nearest downstream town is Manawa, located just below.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
South Branch Little Wolf River, Little Wolf River and Wolf River.
The flood wave is moving down the Little Wolf River beginning at 
Manawa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in low lying areas below the Manawa Dam you should move 
to higher ground immediately.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
