...The Flood Watch is cancelled for the following rivers in 
Missouri...
 
  Elk River near Tiff City affecting McDonald County
  Spring River at Carthage affecting Jasper County


.The rain that has fallen in the last day will result in rises along
the Elk and Spring Rivers.  However, the rivers are not expected to
reach flood stage at Tiff City and Carthage at this time. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for flooding along 
area rivers and streams.

* At  1:45 PM Sunday the stage was 5.4 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Minor flooding occurs at the gage site. 
  Flood waters impact State Highway 37 east of Carthage between 
  Avilla and Reeds.
