The Flood Watch has expired for portions of south central and southeast Texas, including the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Bolivar Peninsula, Brazoria Islands, Chambers, Coastal Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Harris, Coastal Matagorda, Fort Bend, Galveston Island, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Inland Harris, Inland Matagorda, Matagorda Islands, Northern Liberty, Southern Liberty and Wharton. The coverage of showers and thunderstorms continues to diminish with a lull in the activity expected this evening through tonight. There will be additional scattered showers and storms Sunday morning through Sunday afternoon that may lead to localized minor urban and small stream flooding, but the widespread flash flooding threat has ended.
